Evacuation Slide Lighting Batteries
BaseWest aircraft escape slide lighting battery packs have been selected for every new aircraft program requiring this equipment since 1996. Many of the same battery packs that BaseWest provides to Air Cruisers and Goodrich for their new aircraft escape slide lighting systems are available to airlines, MRO’s, and independent service centers under FAA-PMA approval. BaseWest remains the only Boeing and Airbus approved supplier of LED-based slide lighting systems and the advanced “smart” battery technology that powers many of them.
