Evacuation Slide Lighting

BaseWest specializes in aircraft escape slide lighting systems. We have been selected sole source on every new Boeing, Airbus, and major regional jet program that we have had the opportunity to bid since 1996 including A320, A321neo, A330/340, A350, A380, 737, 747-400, 757, 767, 777, 787, Embraer E1/E2, COMAC C919, and Airbus A220 (BD500). We are the sole supplier for these systems to Safran (Air Cruisers) and Collins Aerospace (Goodrich). BaseWest is the only FAA approved escape slide lighting systems based on LED technology. Recent advances include crush-resistant designs and “smart luminaire” technology to significantly increase reliability.
